Washing after using G3

Hi all.
I know that the general rule is to 1. wash, 2. clay (never done this though), 3. Polish, 4. wax
Having just used Farelca G3 Scratch remover (black bottle version) on my car by hand, which has worked better than I though it would, there is still quite a bit of dust despite wiping over afterwards, (maybe because I used too much G3.)

Would washing the car now mean I wasted my time this morning?
I know that with washing after a general polishing would be a waste of polish/time, but don't know about G3.

Washing should be fine if the product has removed the scratches and not masked them by filling.
