A month or so ago I bought a can of Plastidip off the 'net and sprayed up some exterior plastics on my car, a month on and it is still looking good so I thought I'd finish off the rest. Believing it was the same stuff(!) I bought a can of Halford vinyl paint as it was cheaper, I then sprayed the rest of the car without masking anything off first and without trying it out on a test area first believing that the overstay would peel off as easy as the plastidip... Well, it doesn't shoot

And there's a lot more like that as well... It is coming off *very* slowly using tar remover, is there another safe option? Bit annoyed with myself that I didn't test it out first...

Actually, after my OP I found some thinners in the shed, did the trick! Tested it on an inconspicuous area first though...

Frost sell a spray product that is better than plastidip.
There is a chap who pists videos on youtube mainly about bikes. He has compared the frost product against plastidip on a bike shield that gets hammered and it came out on top by a long way. Far more durable and a good finish.
I will dig the vid up and post later.
