I have a six month old car that must have the most brittle paint on the planet! It is an exclusive colour and I can't believe the size of the stone chips on the bonnet, 5 pence pieces all over, so I've decided to get it sprayed and then protect it. Long time since I've gone this route and I know that things have improved, anyone with any experience or advice on what to go for?

Paintshield or Xpel for the PPF & use some Gtechniq C2v3 spray sealant for quick, efficient, ongoing protection..

cheers

New paint work shouldn't have film applied for at least 4 weeks (longer if possible).
New paint is still 'gassing off' (solvents are still evaporating and the paint's still hardening) during this period - covering it (even applying wax) to early will prevent this process and cause problems.

Suspected as much, I will talk to the bodywork bloke and take it from there.

Still waiting to get my bonnet sprayed but be interested to know what you think of Ventureshield, Daventry is not too far from me, hope it goes well.

Jarrod at BodyguardUK in Daventry did a fantastic job today.
What a nice chap as well.
Here are some pictures of the VentureShield PPF fitted to my Jaguar.
(Kit included: Front bumper; headlights; front part of bonnet, front part of wings; wing mirrors)

A truly amazing job smile
