Hi all

My toyota regius camper van is a Jap import.
I assume it has never had any kind of underseal/proofing etc as i believe they dont use salt on the roads in Japan.

As the van represents quite an investment i dont wish for it to go the same way bongos do rotting through everywhere.

So what is the current thinking on rust proofing? Ive read waxoyl is a bit rubbish? whats best bearing in mind it will be me applying it?

Ta in advance

Bilt Hamber products. They do the job brilliantly and are very easy to use.

S50 for cavities
UB for underbody areas
UC for when you want a clear wax film

I prefer to use decent anti-stone chip on undersides, bilt wax and UC everywhere else, we ave some pretty st roads all the same, although I doubt you're going to be kicking up stones doing burnouts and doughnuts so as above

Any product will be rubbish if its sprayed on existing rust and flaking paint as most people assume its ok to do. The dinitrol and bilt hamber range seem to be very good products and have great reviews.
