Wasn't sure where to post this but maybe someone can help. Someone in their wisdom decided to fit aftermarket wood to my 16v Mercedes. Not only did they glue bits on but they drilled holes as well. Is it possible to repair the holes and simulate the grain in the leather (vinyl?) ? Any recommendations as to where?

I have never had any luck getting rid of screw holes, I would vote go down the make it a feature route - upholstery screws just to fill in the holes?
(pic above is a first google result, better colour match and smaller heads would be preferred)

There is a local guy i use for this kind of thing, he fills int eh holes then paints over the filler. Clever thing is that he mimics the surrounding texture as he applies some kind of putty over another part of the dash then presses it onto the filler before it dries. You can spot the repairs if you look hard but its very good.. and probably neater than screws!

As above. This is something I do and it is possible to achieve practically invisible results.

Patch behind, fill level with surrounding surface, imprint grain, spray or sponge on colourant followed by protective coating.
