Paint and Rust cleaning

Hi I need to paint the inside of my race car. There's a mixture of paint, rust and weld overspill that needs cleaning/stripping.

Do the abrasive angle grinder discs work well, if so which brand. Screwfix list a few. Nitromors ? Rust prevention solutions ?? DIY shot blasting ?

All suggestions greatly received.

I will either spray with aerosols or paintbrush it.

Abrasive discs are ok but can be a little agressive, a flap wheel is very good for the type of job your doing.

I would not bother stripping the paint if its sound but remove most of the rust and treat any left with a dinitrol or bilt hamber product.
