Would you ever rent equipment/space?

Question for the car cleaning masses!
Just musing at the moment about what i'd do if I had a very large workshop/garage.
Whilst we all know that for the majority of people, it's a passion and something that we actually enjoy doing in the comfort of your own space.....To put simply, would you ever consider renting a space where you can detail your own car, without having to shell out the upfront cost for everything yourself, especially when some products you most likely will only use once or twice a year?
Call it a detailing studio for example, lots of decent bright lighting, tiled floor and comes equipped with most tools like compressed air line, DA and rotary machines, pads, selection of products etc. Maybe a much reduced price if you wanted to use your own kit and just rent the space?
Obviously you'd need business insurance, and liability insurance etc, which I suspect would make the whole thing cost prohibitive, but i'd be interested to know if anyone who's actually keen enough to consider themselves an amateur detailer, would ever pay to use a space if you didn't have one suitable?
