Having recently packed in the evil weed, i decided to Vax my car today. I also cleaned all surfaces using some APC, but i can still smell stale smoke in there. I cleaned all carpets, door cards, parcel shelf and headlining using the Vax.

Are these smoke bombs any good? The kind that are a canister that you let off in your car and leave for a few hours, or is there something else i can do? I don't want to spend a fortune, so a detailer/valeter is out of the question.

Try a Dakota smoke Bomb, get em online for about a tenner. I used em in an old smoker I bought a few years back and it cured the dog / fag smell for periods of time. Had the carpets out and cleaned in the vents and everything, fully shampooed but it still comes back.

You may need 2, and you may need to do it regularly. Unfortunately smoke will have contaminated the a/c - heating and vent system and will have laid done gunk in all the pipes and vents that you will never get to.

Full release bombs will cover it for a time but may need multiple treatments to work for longer periods.
