I hope you can help me out here.

I have just received pics of a 14 year old car that I find quite tasty, but they are prone to rusting; so I would like to garner a few opinions about the underside of it from these images

It seems in fairly good condition to my untrained and amateur eye, apart from one of them which has a film of red upon it and appears to be flaking also.

Your help would be greatly appreciated here, as I am on the cusp of fulfilling a boyhood dream! So any suggestions are more than welcome.

You are going about this the wrong way
There is no point in asking the opinions of strangers about 4 pictures when it comes to spending money
The pictures you have posted are nowhere near enough or of good enough definition to assist anyone in making a judgement
There is only one way to go about this and that is, seek 2 or 3 professionals to inspect the car for you and give you their findings in print
I hope it works out good for you and you are able to live your dream

Take a screwdriver with you when you view it
If the screwdriver goes right through the rust reduce your bid by £100

Seriously go on forums about the car, look at areas of concern and take a mate who knows a little about cars
