Hi All

Wonder if anyone can help me with this one please?

I have a 2003 Inca van which has the dreaded sill rot on the near side, quite common I believe. The problem is the sill panels are no longer available anywhere. I know if you have the skills you could probably fabricate your own, but I don't.

Would anyone know if a Polo, Córdoba or something similar would have the same outer sill profile? As these sills are still available. If the lower profile is similar I could modify one of theses to replace the rot on the van. Obviously the top of the sill would be very different to a van due to the doors etc.

Any ideas?

Cheers Karl.

you can buy them from vwheritage, although they will be the correct contour they will need chopped/altered to suit your needs.

Yep

I've had a look on there but they only list MK1 Caddy panels?

Cheers Karl.

since theres none listed anywhere I would imagine it would be a multi use part, Ibiza etc, the only way to find out would be to call a Seat dealer ask for the parts dept, give your reg and ask for a price and a part number, that way you should be able to cross reference with parts from some where like Euro car parts(but make sure its a collision repair centre and not ust a regular euro)
Or you could always source a local mobile welder to patch it for you.
