Scuffed trim panels.........
Discussion
Recently I bought a very low mileage VW Tiguan which was in really good condition apart from several areas of scuffed interior trim.
The scuffing is mainly along the bottoms of the door trims and around the boot opening. The plastic trim material has a grain rather like leather.
Is there any way that I can polish out scratches without altering the overall appearance of the trim (i.e., making it go smooth and shiny)?
Any help will be much appreciated.

Magic Sponge and degreaser: YouTube Vid
I bought some magic sponges from ebay and some Meguiar's Super Degreaser from Amazon.
Like the chap in the vid, diluted the degreaser 4 to 1. It works a treat. With a micro fibre cloth you can use the diluted degreaser on the rest of the car interior - it really is good stuff.
New pastime is finding things to clean around the house with the Meguiar's - works well on kitchen units
