Can pearlesent paint be hand-brushed?

Just that really. Of course, any paint can be brushed - I was just wondering if it's like metallic paint and should be sprayed if it's going to look like it should. Or can it just be rubbed back and cut like 'solid' paint.

Short answer to your first question is no. Needs to be sprayed and has a clearcoat over the top - exactly the same as a metallic - so you can't treat it like solid topcoat.
Be careful that a solid isn't actually a basecoat with clearcoat as you can't 'rub back and cut' either as you'll go through the clear & then it's panel respray time.
