Mrs whilst out on lunch and parked up has had a woman drive into her car. shes got details (name and reg only). no witnesses or cameras to prove Mrs was parked, so think insurance will go 50/50.

Just wondering if we can get a smart repair done to keep costs down, rather than ruin NCB (not protected) and any ideas on cost?

Ive found an entire bumper for £98 on Ebay so maybe its worth taking that route?

Thanks
Ross.

Looks like it should be a simple smart repair but maybe worth checking the fixings for the fog light are still intact before committing to not bother the insurers.

thanks, will check it when i get home tonight. found a few local smart repair places so will ask for a quote. found some rough pricing (about £99 for bumper repair).

shes informed her insurance and told them she doesn't want to claim through them.

Her current insurance has said that the Mrs can call the woman's insurance direct to pursue....

will this affect my Mrs' future declarations regarding "claim in last 5 years" etc?
