Suntek PPF any issues?
Discussion
sounds like there has been a slight mix up.
1) lifting will be down prep and persons application not which type of material.
2) suntek is not a thick (very rough term as its to do with adhesive and film thinkness differences) as xpel with differening outcomes. Also means slithly easier to install.
3) suntek lays slightly flatter smoother than suntek due to being thinner.
4) xpel protects against heavy chips and damage more due to being thicker, the last car we had in had suntek on top eye level panels and xpel on lower panels for more prone to stone chips and dare i say it bumper corners being grazed. slithly harder to install
i will say that the difference in visuals between the 2 are very similair and you have to look hard to see the differences,
Also a knowledgeabe installer will be able to explain the simple after care for the PPF for you once job is completed.
