Bit of advice please.

I have some mysterious dents in both rear quarter panels of my car after being serviced, the garage says they are repaired stone chips that have sunk while I believe something has struck the bodywork multiple times, approx 28 marks over both panels.

I have tried to photograph the damage but it is proving to be near impossible.

These dents do not appear to have damaged the paint but show up as a distortion in reflections on the panels.

The car does seem to have brittle paint as there are a few stone chips elsewhere on the car with ragged shapes. Can anyone advise on the likely hood of these dents becaused by stone chip repairs sinking?

Thanks

I have tried to photograph them without success, any suggestions as to how best to photograph such a reflective surface will be very helpful.
