Other than giving them a wash and brush, any tips to get them to look like they are new again? Mine seem to just keep the grey finish to them, even after a wash. Tried 'cockpit shine' type product, kind of works but leaves them slippery because of the silcone in the spray.

Great product - lifts brake dust of sidewalls no problem so I would expect it to lift general grime off a floor mat.

The shine products don't clean. You should probably try an all-purpose-cleaner and give them a bloody good scrub to get the grime out of them first.

i scrub mine with soapy water and rinse , then mist over with some watered down armour all when dry , blackens them without being overly slippy

Great product yes, I use for my different areas & applications but for a rubber mat as the OP has said about other products it will make it slippery as buggery. Ask me how I know. banghead I think a lot of products will either be slippery or leave a residue that could/would come off on clothes (ok you're not going to kneel on the mat but ....). I'd go with an initial pressure wash & maybe try shoe polish.

Then you need water based (not silicone!) rubber / tyre dressing smile

Some motorcycle dealers blather it over the tyres too eek

I use a degreaser, brush and rinse off, then dress with a non silicone dressing...1Z or Einszett is great for interiors.

Same here, bar the choice of brand for the dressing. But that's just personal preference.
