What are people's thoughts on waterless detailing between proper washes because where I currently live we have no outside tap so have to go back to my parents to actually wash it myself!

It's bad.

You will still swirl your car. Fine if it's used right. But most of the time you are better off leaving it dirty and washing it with proper water! Unless you like grinding ste into your paint. :-(

Yes which is what I currently used but I enjoy doing things myself on my cars as much as possible!

Thought as much! Some of these waterless solutions are marketed so well but I'll stick to the Eastern European car washes for now between proper washes!

You only need to look at the photos on the website - the waterless detailing system is intended for people who want to clean already-clean vehicles.

There's a product called Optimum No Rinse which has received very high praise on Detailing World.

I've not used it myself but it only requires something like half a bucket of water and clean microfibre cloths. Handy for those who don't have a water supply available at home.
