Can't find a current discussion about stone chips. (If there is one - apologies - please let me know the whereabouts).

In an old discussion on the topic on this site, one comment said that the average smart repair technician couldn't do a good job on stone chips, and another said that his silver TVR had been so well repaired (stone chips plus scratches) by a smart repair guy that he couldn't find where the damage had been.

I have a silver car with stone chips, and would welcome advice and the location of someone who can tackle them (if he exists), without going for a full panel respray.

Silver is a very hard colour to match, but when done well it can look great.
I've done quite a lot of these, depending on the extent of the chips, respraying the panel can be more cost effective.
