Hi all

I have got a dodo juice DA polisher and have used it to get good results on my daughters mini but now want to sort out some bug stains and swirls on the tuscan. Any advise as to any change in technique or products I should use for fibreglass bodies ?

Cheers

Steve

The heat dispersion will be a lot different that a metal bodied vehicle.
Just go in easy and only work up when needed. Keep a close eye on panel temps too.

I've done multiple TVR's including my own Tuscan. If you're starting out without too much experience under your belt then I'd recommend a hexlogic pad (white is a good start) and I mainly use sonax polishes. This one is my "go-to" light polish which isn't very aggressive:

Equally their Profiline Perfect Finish is also a nice balance between cutting power and fine polish.

The main thing is to prevent the panel getting too hot so I do a max of 2 passes with the DA before wiping and checking the results.

If you're new to detailing and polishing then take a look at some YouTube videos as well. I quite like Ammo channel as it's fairly in depth and helps you understand the bigger picture of what products and techniques to use.

Feel free to pm me if you want to check anything before starting!
