Painting and Blending Multiple Repairs on a Panel
Discussion
Hi,
After a bit of advice, the rear quarter panel on my dark metallic grey car has been damaged in 3 different places. The proposed repair is to paint and blend each of the damaged areas. There are no ridge lines on the panel or areas that could hide a repair join.
My question is how good is this going to look and would it be better or make more sense to re-spray the whole panel?
There is damage along the vertical shut line adjacent to the door (lots of small dents), along the sill at the bottom (paint removed down to primer but no dent) and a small vertical dent a couple of inches away from the rear light cluster (body shell is double skinned in this area so no PDR).
Thoughts and comments appreciated.
