Suggestions for the latest wax / sealant
Discussion
How much would you be willing to spend?
Collinite 476 is a strong contender.
Auto Finesse Desire will last 6 months from a couple of layers.
Auto Finesse Tough Coat is a great, durable sealant.
Spray and rinse sealants are very popular at the moment. I'm using Bead Juice from Bouncer's. You just wash the car, rinse it, spray a light most of the product on the paint and the rinse it off. It works better when rinsed with a pressure washer.
Have you considered a ceramic coating? It's more expensive, but it'll last for years rather than months.

I favour an interim application of spray wax / quick detailer.
I use Sonax Xtreme Brilliant Shine Detailer every other wash or so as part of the drying process. Takes no longer than drying the car and gives a great shine and beads water like crazy. I went away for three weeks over christmas and water was still beading when I came back.
I also do an annual application of Bilt Hamber Finis wax following a very through clean including pannel wipe just before the wax.
If you want to wax / seal once every six months and do nothing in between I think you'll struggle to find anything that will give protection for the whole period.

Chris is this Finish Kare better than R 222 Carnauba Wax ? TIA.
R222 is super glossy with short durability. The FK doesn't add as much gloss but is much more durable. Added bonus of being able to withstand higher temps pretty well so it lasts for a little while on wheels too.

Richard would i be better off with the ODK concours wax that you used on the Range Rover over the FK?
Both my cars are black with perfect paint.
Thank You.

I think Bilt Hamber state 12 months duarbility for this: http://www.bilthamber.com/double-speed-wax Very highly regarded on Detailing World, but don't apply too thick, otherwise it's a very easy on/off process.
