MOT fail on wipers - idiot confession.

I was taken aback when the motor failed on failure to clear screen effectively, after all, I`d only put the wipers on the evening before. Pain of a job as they were the type with loads of little black plastic bits to assemble to match the arms - should have gone for the Bosch. It was dark by the time I`d finished.
Called for the car & was told it had failed on the wiper blades - but they had fixed it....
I`d failed to remove the plastic protection stips from the blades ~ gave the tester a laugh anyway.

That's what I usually do having done something simplistically stupid.
Let's be honest, we all do daft things occasionally.
