Diamond cut alloys?
Discussion
Hi all,
I've just got my first car with diamond cut alloys (eugh) and have seen online that you need a pH neutral cleaner for them? My current (and good) wheel cleaner is around pH 14, so I'm guessing it's far too alkali for them?
Also looking at buying a foam lance soon. Can anybody point me towards snow foam that is diamond cut friendly?
Cheers.

Auto Finesse Revolution wheel soap is great.
It's well worth sealing them up or having them ceramic coated. It'll make cleaning very easy and prevent the finish becoming tarnished.
Any snow foam will be wheel safe. By the time they hit the paintwork, the ph levels are usually around neutral.

To be honest OP, unless you're leaving your wheels for months without a wash you should be able to use a wash mitt and normal shampoo to clean them up.
I have an old microfibre mitt and if necessary a slightly stronger soap solution which cleans my wheels up nicely. Even if they've been left for a few weeks it will get them really clean.
What you may find helpful is applying a wheel sealant so that any dirt/brake dust on the wheels doesn't stick as easily so is easier to wash off.
