is there a product truly better than rain x?

ive been pretty happy with rain x , i see the odd youtuber claiming such n such is wayyy better but most of them are advertising thier own stuff etc

anyone found a truly superior rain x type product ?

I just use a ceramic sealant. Works fine, much less risk of blurring in my experience. Plus Rain X sponsor BRAKE so lose my custom.

Was a big fan of RainX but now use Angelwax H2GO, also use their glass cleaner to prep the glass before application. Car has a glass roof and this stuff works well. Can’t remember when I last applied it, August probably but it still clears water well.

Found it browsing through products at a local retailer.

I’m not someone who likes to put too much effort into cleaning really and am definitely not a detailer. So little experience of other any products than these two.

Having recently started using Autoglym's COAT IT, which is more or less the 5 litre bottle of Polar Seal (as recommended here), via the snow foam dispenser, the rain clearing effect of both paintwork and windows is superb, even the wheels stay cleaner longer.
So easy too, just spray it on after washing and then rinse off, job done.

Rain-x is a decent off the shelf high st. product.

There are other products which offer better performance and longevity -
Angelwax as mentioned above.

Gyeon wet coat is similar, spray onto wet paint/glass, rinse off with loads and loads of water

It didnt repel the housebrick that was thrown through my screen so that goes in the against column!

Glaco stuff comes very well reviewed.

I use Infinity Wax diamond vision and they've just announced a new product to replace it which is a specific ceramic coating for glass to offer much improved resistance to wipers. I'll give that a go when it is available to buy as well.

This, there's been a few threads on this subject recently and the answers the same. Use the windsreen prep stuff first then the coating, lasts for years.

Ive used Rain x for years,

Last month following the advice on here switched to Glaco.

Used the cleaner first and then applied.

The difference is amazing - a vast improvement

Same here. Rain-X is decent enough, H2GO is better and easier to use. Seems to last longer as well.
