Good evening,

My friend owns a C300de estate (2016) and the front number plate mounting came off in some flood water.

Plenty of replacements but they all have 4 fixing studs but his bumper only has 3 holes.

Mercedes don’t really know.

Any thoughts?

He can’t cut off one of the studs as the studs / holes don’t line up![url]

When you say ‘Mercedes don’t really know”, has your friend tried ordering a new plinth from Mercedes using the vin number? If so, what turned up.
