Which is the best car polish around?

I'm going to recommend one i never hear anyone else talk about,Kiwi car polish(yes the shoe polish people)Red plastic containers with a black label.First time i used it was on my 300zx,it was a bit tight getting out of my car in the garage,i had to reach up onto my window pillar and pull myself out,my hand just slid down the pillar!!It was so smooth?You would just put a cloth on the bonnet after polishing and it would just glide all the way down.I was really impressed with it and i've used it ever since.

can you go over zymol with autoglym extra gold? I have heard you may need to wash the car with washing up liquid first. I got the cheep zymol from halfords and want to go back to autoglym as i think it gives a better finish. However it would be easier if i could just put the autoglym on top. The car is a light blue mazzer. (there is a cracking picture of the badge on my advert. Don't know how to upload it here)

john where in the north west are you. i think you should try the Zymol hand crafted waxes as they will give a much better finish than autoglym if applied correctly, if you are not far away i dont mind coming over and giving you some tips.

Glyn I put autoglym over the top (2 coats) and it looked fantastic. So good I sold the car last Sunday (gutted) need to find a 4 door family thing now! thanks for the offer may take you up when i get the new one could be an XJR. Location is near Blackpool
