Karting - who is up for it?

I've often thought about buying a kart with a mate or 2, I used to belong to the Tiger club and iirc they had days when you just paid a fee to use the track. Much more fun than the slow rentals (but I'd still be up for that in the meantime)
I'd be up for having a chat about this.As Reardy said...You need to get a bit more serious about it to get there. You can't just show up with a kart and ask for a go these days. You will need a licence and all the kit to do it. Certainly you could joint own a kart though and take it in turns to race.

Massively tempted by the idea of a gearbox kart myself.
