To add some car related chat...

I was in Melbourne for the F1 recently. Is it the Merc C63 capital?! They were everywhere! Far more than I see in sleepy old Adelaide. They sound immense. But the best of all was the pace car or whatever it was on track. Estate version and surely had pipes because it was loud! biggrin
Newcastle appears to be home of Maserati and Merc AMG. I see more here than I did living in Mosman.

Outside of capitals there is more disposable income due to lower housing prices, so I think people have more interesting cars.

I'd love a decent motor but the reality is owning a nice house or nice car. I bought recently In Brighton and having the beach so close more than makes up for driving a 12 year old Honda CRV which give her her dues she's a trooper and costs Nowt to run. Plus having a decent car here is a waste as the mongs who inhabit the roads here at a cut above any driving population in the fkwittery stakes.

I'm lurking but in general I find the Australia section pretty boring. :O
It used to be a lot more active on here but then I flounced off and a few people drifted away and others have left Australia.

To be honest in Perth we meet up a fair bit, it is just organised outside of the forum and not held as a 'PH Beers' type thing as we are all friends.

I'm currently in Adelaide for a cancelled Stones concert.

Luckily everything is costing me twice as the wife decided on a divorce after we booked everything. Then said she couldn't go.

Sigh.

That's the plan. She is taking the Hilux, the dogs when she gets a place of her own, and I keep the HSV and the house.

She moved out a while back now.

I've been a bit crap at supporting any more drives but got into Triathlons so was either training or racing on a weekend - god that sounds dull! Now we have a wee one I sleep if I get spare time wink Hope all's good in the inner west?

Solid 10's across the board. It was like being in a pub made by Carlsberg, only the beer wasn't st.

What bar was this? I was in 'Lane Way' the other night, and it was wall-to-wall muff.

Awesome.

See you Friday. biggrin
