Thank you.
The RS is really nice but manual only and I really need/want an Auto. The dealer said they wouldn't get them in before 2018.
Yeah chose black on black. Like silver and blue but ultimately was Black was the nice safe option.
Apparently it's getting longer list wise...
I have a RS Focus on order and it has arrived at dealers and awaiting PD and Registration. Delivery to me 21/06/16. Ordered Early January, got this one that was to have been the dealer demo. Now seems new orders unlikely to be arriving before end of 2017, but indications are 2018 more likely. The RS is really nice but manual only and I really need/want an Auto. Think there might be one at work if I put 2 and 2 together. I know the other one ordered is due in July.caterham2 said:

Did you get your car? How are you enjoying it?My FRS should arrive at my dealer this morning so I'm heading off to wait for that first thing!
Mine is nitrous blue. It's getting Opticoat over the weekend and I'll collect it on Monday. I can't wait!

Having now recovered from the trifecta of buying a bigger house, having another child, and starting my own business, and finding that I can now, once more, afford a decent 944S2/T or 968, all the bloody things have gone to ground and places like CTS are jacking the prices right up. B'stards.
Its enough to make me look seriously (and I mean, seriously) at a cojone-tester such as this...
http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Porsche...
...but who'd drive a late-80's 928 in white...
Anyway, unless something starts to surface soon, I think it'll be a decent E36 M3 - prices seem to have bottomed, and there are still a few decent ones out there for c$20-25k, including this clean-looking Evo...

A clean e36 is still a very nice looking car. A friend had one for quite a while and always put a smile on my face.
Because of poor life choices (dog, house, taking up trail running and doing a job that sees me on dirt roads more than normal) I think my next car will be a softroader instead of a 6 series.
So I've gone from this http://www.carsales.com.au/dealer/details/BMW-650i...
To this.

I'd been looking at that GT, if it is a good one the price looks good. If you are keen on a much cheaper 928 I'd be open to discussion. Its enough to make me look seriously (and I mean, seriously) at a cojone-tester such as this...

E36 M3s really are timeless.

I think an exchange of info is required - I'll drop you a note.E36 M3s really are timeless.
As for the E36, I'm coming around to them - clean and original looks good. If it wasn't for the need for 2+2 as a min, the list would be longer

I understand the leap from one to the other😊 but there's no way I could ever buy another Volvo. Would be boring if we all liked the same thing though...Because of poor life choices (dog, house, taking up trail running and doing a job that sees me on dirt roads more than normal) I think my next car will be a softroader instead of a 6 series.

It's the least bad out of the options I've looked at. 2.5 5 cylinder turbo. Has to be better than a BMW X1 Diesel, right? It's quicker than a Forester XT...

Better than an X1D, no doubt. The engine in the Volvo I had was excellent, the rest of the car less so. Other than the XT, I've no idea what I'd look at either. FYL indeed...It's quicker than a Forester XT...

I live in Newcastle. I might as well get a flat brim, a dodgy sleeve tat and a criminal record for drunk and disorderly and be done with it.
I'm going to build one of these http://midlana.com/
Trying to find a tried and tested donor car/engine in Aus is a challenge though as the usual suspects such as Civic Type R are rather thin on the ground. Currently looking at a Honda engine from the horrendous looking Odyssey - There's a 200hp 4 cylinder VTEC hiding in some of those things and they're cheap as chips at pickles.
