Just another German coupe from the early 90s. But love the colour combo and just one owner from new.

It's nice, but I'm not sure I could cope with such a small engine anymore.

Not quite sure what you're waiting for Lee.
Mainly for the kids to be out of kindy so I can afford to run three cars. Also need a new clutch on the Lib, which will be a few $$. But so very tempted by that 635 and this 944S2...

That's very nice too. I think I saw it at Bruce's last year.

Nah, it's just the wrong side of 5 litres.

Hell, mine is just the wrong side of 6 litres.

His claws are useless at handling anything. Lack of opposable thumbs are not a positive in a mechanic.

I am going to contradict myself now, because I've just found out you can pick these up for less than 10k.

Are they any good?

Just in case anyone's got a 928 S4 and starting to think its a bit slow, what about this one

In addition to needing a German coupe in my garage, I'm finding that I also need a V12. Phase should pass before the money becomes available.

Nice car, nice colour...

You never know with these cars what potential expense is around the corner without close scrutiny.

Back to the real world, I reckon I need to throw $10k at mine to get it back to tip top, but that's my fault for not spending enough. I reckoned $6k/yr on average to stay ahead if the game. I've spent probably $8k in 3 years, so all's good. I'd otherwise have 'paid' that kind of money in depreciation for something newer and less special.

On power, I had a rear muffler delete done but hear great power figures about x-pipes alone. An extra grand is probably well spent. And imminent.

ETA: that one in the link looks an awesome car for the money if it's good.

Wow that's a pretty decent price for over here. Shame about the colour and its a manual, if it was blue with SMG and the same seats then it would be perfect.

Did the Z4 M even come with a crap gearbox option?

I am so massively tempted by one of them in 6 months time. Seem incredible value for money. And look amazing IMO. One of the few modern BMWs with presence.

If by crap I assume that you are referring to the SMG then no it didn't. I presumed that it did as it shared its engine with the E46 M3 (which of course had an SMG option) but just checked and its manual only.
