Why wasn't this for sale 3 months ago???

Gen-F HSV R8 Tourer with...
Yup, manual box. And 340kW upgrade. Its averaged 800km a week for two years, so should be run-in... Have since committed cash to the house, otherwise I'd have that.
In other news, I'm growing a mullet and have a penchant for listening to Barnsey whilst chewing a stubbie.
Tempting, but the fact the steering wheel is on upside down could point to it being poorly maintained.http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Holden-...

"Car has nice cold air con and Sunroof although have never opened the roof." - Doesnt sound at all dodgy, does it! haha. Why would you make a point of saying you've never opened the roof if you werent covering your ass in anticipation of a future problem?Well on chatting with a fellow PH'er last night, I was looking at :-
http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Ferrari...
and then
http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Ferrari...
Why is it that 348/355/360s are all about the same price?
But then I saw this :-
http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Dodge-V...
I know it's rubbish, and I know the inside is cheap materials, but 8.0 V10 .. hmm ..
The road trip from QLD to WA would be fun (and expensive on fuel).

Looking at this:
BMW 3.0 CS
http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/_/SSE-A...
And this:
Honda NSX
http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/_/SSE-A...
Both or one would make me happy.
Also I think the 3.0 would be fun to drive at legal speeds.

Unfortunately not in the marketing for anything for a long while... Just window shopping..
That 360 sure must handle well...
Aren't 355 prices far above 360 / 348?
Yep, and climbing fast. 6 months ago they were approx 360 level but now a good 20% higher. That 360 sure must handle well...

That is lovely. It's almost identical to 'one that got away' from me about 10 years ago.$85k, wow. And what were they new?
At $150,000 its the seller who must be dreaming not me!

Meanwhile this looks nice:

And this looks expensive but probably a good long-term buy for someone who doesnt want to drive it:

Some lovely metal being found!
That 348 is a standout (it's got all the upgrades of the later GTB and is awesome all round) as is the NSX.
Popped into the CTR in Sydney yesterday - they never cease to amaze with their prices boy OMFG the market seems insane at the moment. $80k for a 240z with a fair amount of filler! $140k for a nice enough Fez 328 and $189k for an '86 911 Turbo!

Owner is well known on NSX Prime forum. He does a lot of organisation and work behind the scenes. Will be a great car but personally not for me because its a targa and the dent in the rear right quarter will require a lot of work even though he's providing the new rear fender.BMW 3.0 CS

Was just in there today, same thought - though the Ghibli is rather nice. No surprise that the E28 M5 is still for sale at $130k...That 348 is a standout (it's got all the upgrades of the later GTB and is awesome all round) as is the NSX.
