Getting married in 2 weeks in the Hunter Valley, just took the Saab in for a small oil leak and it needs new hoses which have to be genuine Saab items, $1400! Cheers

I am very quiet in here generally and in Adelaide I am busy in real life with the new house build (too hot to pour concrete this week), sorting a 75 series landcruiser ute for the farm, calving and wife due to calve on Tuesday!

lambchopski - if I can ask how much did you get for the m3, were there any issues as an import? I have a 2003 manual and have already placed a deposit for a new mustang that due at the end of the year.

If anyone is interested in a build thread I am tempted to put one up
Always like a build thread. I should put a finishing post to my Caterham one really.

There's a good Irish bar in Joondalup that's within walking distance of Joondalup railway station, opposite a large car park and handy for those of us in the northern suburbs? Joondalup being the only railway station north of the city that's not in the middle of the freeway.
Do I need any vaccinations to go that far north?
yes

I just had the 96 HSV Manta engine rebuilt (lumpy cam blah blah) and she was driving beautifully. Then she would fire at starting..

So after 3 weeks of an incompetent Sparky which I told him after 1 week "check the distributor" - it was the distributor!!!!

Love the lumpy rumble again

I've just got a new job
What and where?

Not much for me. Almost divorced, which is the main goal for the year.

Keep looking at cheap 2nd cars. Either something small and convertible, or old, sheddy and 4x4.
Congrats on the (nearly) divorce - a great feeling enjoy.

I'd go 4x4 - more usable, relaxed and you'll see some great places.

Now managing the financial planning team for one of the big banks - same place, bigger role.
