My girlfriend has a craving for some instant noodles, but in curry flavour. It's the curry flavouring she is having a hard time finding. I think once she has had a bowl full, her craving will be set for many months to come. Has anyone seen any in the shops local to them?

Random one, but that's it!

Curry Flavoured Pot Noodles?

One of the Coles I have been in recently had some UK Pot Noodles in it in the International section.

More the square/ rectangular instant noodles, but similar. Coles here gas one Pop Noodle in the UK section. Chicken and Mushroom possibly, I think it's green.

Although they're not specifically listed I reckon this mob would have Curry Super Noodles, which is probably what she's craving ? (most of the English style shops do but I don't know there's any up your way).

Prepare to give your credit card a hiding though.

I'm a bit of a Pot Noodle fiend, and as far as I know Coles only stocks Chicken & Mushroom. I sometimes go to these expensive pommie stores to get by Beef & Tomato, Bombay Bad Boys and occasionally Pot Rice curry flavour when available.

Some places who will ship worldwide want £26 for just postage for 6 packets! No no no. It's between British Sweets and Treats From Home. Both Australian based.

I'm not really missing a food item. Something I'll probably find out when I return to the UK and find something I've been missing!

Haha, I ordered some from an Oz company specialising in UK foods. It was postage which hit really, the noodles weren't too bad. More than just off the shelf in the UK but not a large sum.

Kind of proves the old saying doesn't it?

You know about taking the boy, or in this case girl, out of pommy land, but you can't take the pommy out of the boy. hehe

Here you are in Oz, where there are plenty of huge great chunks of Brahman bull yum to eat, & what does she want, flavoured flower & water.

Curry flavour, not flower flavour ;-)
