Hire car Venice to Verona

I have a hire car for Naples to Venice 18th May to 24th for £107.

Need one from Venice to Verona Airport Fri 26th May to Sunday 28th. They're all coming up as £140 odd for 3 days hire. Anyone kno whwy a 3 day hire is more than the week long hire?

Also, anyone know any sites or services in Italy that will be cheaper?

You can cancel at the very last with no fees (except when written differently) and prices are usually the best that you can find
