Few of us on ECCA have decided to get together for a National Park Cruise on Saturday, 29th March.

When: Saturday 29th March, 2008

Where: Meet at Sutherland station carpark, then head to the Royal National Park

Meet Time: 9:30am for a 10am departure

What To Bring: Full tank of fuel. CB Radios will also be useful. Bring something to eat for lunch. There are no shops down there! Also bring a good attitude. Unsafe drivers won't be tolerated.

ALL EUROPEAN CARS ARE WELCOME....in fact, anyone is welcome, as long as they don't drive like idiots.

In

Should be a nice little drive. New tyres, new suspension, new engine mounts.

Interesting to see how it goes

Be aware that the road is not as smooth as it used to be, the bikies are mad and there is likely to be more than one mobile speed camera in operation at that time of day.

It's one of my local roads, have a weekender in there and drive it often.

Suthol - thanks for the heads up mate!
I've never actually been before. The roads are sealed though yeah? Like there's not loose gravel or dirt roads??

Yes they are sealed, just been allowed to run down a bit probably to discourage the local and not so local hoons using it for competition.

Back in the mid 80's they resurfaced the lot with quality hotmix and it was heaps of fun.

Still a very pleasant place to drive through though, once you get to McKell Ave at the Waterfall end you are in rain forest so lights on is a good idea and right near Otford you will come to a hairpin sign posted at about 15 Kph, do take heed because it claims quite a few.

Probably should keep going and drop down the hill, run along the coast through Stanwell Park across the Seaclif bridge and come back up Bulli Pass and then along the old highway back to Sydney.

Then you only have the transport stage from Waterfall to Heathcote before you get back into the traffic.

Regards
Dave

I've got a mate coming over on Saturday, he's on the way back to Brissie after doing a lap of Tassie in his Locost, and off to the sprints at Oran Park on the Sunday, so not this time.

I'm up against it at the moment as I have to get my build engineered and submitted before the end of June when the emissions regs change again.

You all missed an excellent day.

Good roads, good people, a broken down Ferrari and what apppeared to be an unmaned HWP car. At least I hope it was unmaned.

Me/RN318 will post up details of the next one

http://forums.eurocca.net/showthread.php?p=410144#post410144  for pics if you are interested. Yes, that is a brand spanker M3.

What do you reckon about the last Saturday of every month for a short run like that? Have it as a monthly tradition. Got Bobbin Head, Wisemans, Old Pac, Galston and all that to do, so have plenty of drives.

The M3 you got along was pretty schmick, so could have it as a real inter forum kind of event - OzAudi, ECCA, Pistonheads, M3, whatever.

Thoughts from anyone else?
