Emigrating UK to Australia - The Reality
Discussion
I've been here 4 years now, never looked back, never would go back ... except to maybe get an Esprit V8 cheap and bring it over, but would be done as a normal import, 'cos I couldn't face living in the UK for a full 12 months again!!!
If you haven't worked it out by now, and you've been here twice already, it's not for you!! I knew on my first trip here 12 years ago that I was going to move here permanently, it was only a matter of time and how I was going to get in.
In the end, as PB said, I came on a ETA holiday, got a 457, worked on that for a while, then got my contract management company to sponsor me for PR. There is always a way, you just need to ask the questions ... I found www.britishexpats.com a really helpful site.
Good luck

Gosford didn't turn you off? I'm shocked
Well... maybe a little mate. I was in Canberra on Monday too. Surely by now I should be ready to go home to more exciting places smack said:
