Been to Maya on Market St before. I remember the food being okay and reasonably priced.
Personally will cruising in on the train, plus eating and running if we make this the 21st as its Good Vibrations the day after. Need to be a good boy smile The days of two hard days/nights are long gone for me!

Hey guys I just went ahead and booked Maya in Freo for the 21st at 6.30pm.

We have 9 confirmed and 1 possible in this thread however I booked for 15 to allow for any others that might want to join us.

The Maya website is www.mayarestaurant.com.au

Their address is 75-77 Market Street and their phone number is 9335 2796. The booking is under my name...James Pritchard.

The bloke I spoke to said they offer a banquet menu for group bookings...he is going to email me the menu but I would think this one on their website is the same thing: http://www.mayarestaurant.com.au/resources/menu/79...

Tim just emailed me about this - sorry have been off the radar dealing with personal issues, but will be back on the scene soon enough.

Unfortunately I'm booked for this Saturday but will try and join for the next one for sure.

Oh and decided on a name change for some reason. Fiddlemesticks needed Australianafying.....

hehe I was going to suggest the Delhi Menu. Its the middle price and has a mix of veggie, meat and prawn curries.

As I understand the email we are expected to come to a unanimous decision and just have one menu for the whole group...we may need to push this back to September hehe

It's not skidmarks in the car park I'm worried about... hehe

Good to know you're keeping an eye on things from over there JD, good to hear from you too! wavey
How's that old air cooled "baby blue" porker of yours running?

[brainfartmodeoff] Dev, umm... with you now.

Delhi's fine with me/us as long as I keep the image of that stehole place out of my mind especially if I'm going to be eating!!!
One of THE worst places I've lived in my life.

The bluddy Bombay is only a couple notes or so more... innit!

Very well thank you, although the driver seems to need to learn to be a bit more gentle with the peddles .... garage bill just in for new clutch kit + rear tires paperbag

Always keep a quiet eye on the Oz section incase i get bumped down to the penal colonies ....

BTW Vanya, looks like they kicked you out of UAE just in time hehe

Oh yes there is only about $6 seperating the lot...but if in doubt just go with the one in the middle.

I was just thinking that someone might not like fish curry or might be ghey veggie so something with a mix should hopefully keep everyone happy...mind you it does look like its going to be a table mostly filled with pommies soapbox

Yes the fish bit bothered me a bit too, but taking the ghey girlie veggie aspect into consideration I thought overall the Bombay was a bit more carnivorish (new word bowtie).

Still, Delhi's fine if that's the consensus. thumbup
