Very well thank you, although the driver seems to need to learn to be a bit more gentle with the peddles .... garage bill just in for new clutch kit + rear tires paperbag
I don't see anything wrong here? Clutch? Tyres?

Consumables my friend... consumables. yes

Always keep a quiet eye on the Oz section incase i get bumped down to the penal colonies ....

Is that a real possibility?
Apart from the lobotomised local road users 'tis a very nice place to be.

Your old lot BHP are shedding big time... that side of things are looking a bit tight at moment. frown

BTW Vanya, looks like they kicked you out of UAE just in time hehe

You know, after a great time in Abu Dhabi 95 to 97 I was so looking forward to the Dubai assignment.
Crap place now and was very happy to see the back of it.

Disclaimer: There was a great bunch of PHers there though!

'suppose you are right about consumables, and i had managed 40,000km on that clutch too ...

Aye, BHPB are not having a great time right now! Never know on the Job front though ... could happen!

Yes the fish bit bothered me a bit too, but taking the ghey girlie veggie aspect into consideration I thought overall the Bombay was a bit more carnivorish (new word bowtie).

Still, Delhi's fine if that's the consensus. thumbup
[Brainfartmodeoff] Okay so now its my turn. I just read the email again and we only have to choose from the banquet menu if we have a booking of more than 10. So far we have 9! Its only on bookings over 12 they get mardy about credit card numbers.

Having said that the banquet does look to be good value considering you get to try some of everything.

Is it fair of me to say "confirm your spot by close of business Wednesday"? That gives enough time to finalise the booking with them on Thursday.

Wednesday cut off is fine by me.

Ok if they insist the whole group has to choose one menu I'll go with the Delhi so as not to cause ripples, otherwise I'll be splurging the full EXTRA 6 bucks and wallow in the luxury of the top menu, the Bombay. silly

I'll be driving so my alcohol consumption will be massively restricted, it won't however stop me from meeting up first for a beer.

It gets quite busy on a Saturday so I'm not sure if you will find a seat that easily.

Back again briefly...

We're happy with either choice of menu, like the banquet style.

^^^^Guess who did not make it home last night spermthumbup

I think we are only going to have 9 people so we should be free on the menu unless everyone wants to share.

Any menu is fine by us too.

I definitely can't make it on Saturday as we're going out with the in-laws. (They're over from the UK on holiday).
Have a good night and I'll make every effort to meet up with you guys at the next meet.

redcard

I would think most of the eating / drinking establishments in freo would be smart casual or no sneakers.
