I bet the spare was flat too .. that always happens to me.

Hope you had a good time here, when you back proper?

Hoping for the formal offer on Monday or Tuesday and then hopefully move within two months.

Was a pretty hectic couple of days!

Orange Lotus Evora heading towards Church Point this afternoon. Rego was LTS 042 - which is easy to remember as it's my initials and age. Did make me look!

Spotted: 80s supercarness @ my house. My first Ferrari drive in Matt's gorgeous Mondial. Made my day.

Like that a lot!

So, what was it like to drive your first Ferrari?

I have a serious soft spot for the Mondial due to Weird Science...

...which I think belongs to a chap whose 3.6 M5 I looked at a couple of years ago. If it is, then its a full 3.8 M5 under a 525i shell. Its got a couple of parking dings, the paint could do with some polish and its a low-key solid dark blue. Pretty much my ideal car - can transport a family of 5, has a manual box and looks quite unassuming.

Love it! That just needs a 560SEC or M635CSi to complete the picture...

As I would've said if I had met Sam Fox in an Essex nightclub circa 1986

"What a magnificent pair"!

It was really, really exciting, very visceral. It's hard to describe, easier than I thought, being over cautious with the gears, sounded wonderful, not sure if rorty is the right term, but a very different v8 to the porsche as you'd expect. Felt lively, weird driving position. Roof down, a real sense of occasion and I'm still buzzing off it.

Matt said he'd lend it me for 6 months so full report to follow.

Well spotted, very nice if it is indeed that spec.

2 weeks ago I had a half **sed spot in Adelaide. I was coming out of KFC on Greenhill road and walking to my car when a car past the entrance but ducked behind the hedge before I could see properly or the rego.

I'm certain it was a McLaren 12C and it was a strange bluey lilacy purple colour.

Anyone got anymore info?

Hmmm I thought I'd google this before hitting send.

Found this...

Maybe it was a 650s :O

Driving through Brookvale this afternoon, saw a 2011 Porsche Cayenne. Nothing novel there, except I knew if was a 2011 cos it was on British plates - DA11 HVJ or similar - anyone in here??

Seen my second F150 in a week.

Nice looking truck. Would be nice to replace the Hilux, but I'm not sure I could go Ford.

One of the Raptor ones?
They are bit nice!
Saw a Ferrari something today just not sure which one it was but it sounded a bit good from the lights. Was either a 599 or something similar, modern with a big bonnet. Was on my pushbike so was not going to keep up.
First thing I saw was the noise! ok heard. Was actually busy looking and listening to a 60s Mustang that had just gone by, then heard this behind it.

Interestingly, the car next to it in the photo looks like the front end of an Arial Atom.

Just been followed down Citylink by a white Lambo.

Whenever I got the chance I'd create a gap so he could boot it a bit. Sounded awesome biggrin

Nearby neighbour runs BPT in Wangara. Comes home with all sorts of stuff and brought one of those home 2 weeks ago.

Massive. Not big, like a jacked up LC, but Massive. With a capital M.

Sounded awesome when he was showing it off to the other neighbour.

Yup. Real road presence. Proper menacing.

Yeah, wrong side of $100k though. Granted at the moment, the wrong side of $10k.

Wonder if they are actually any good off road?

Saw one on Top Gear USA, think it might have had a little tweak in the engine department but that had me sold except the fuel bill!

Some impressive motors on that Adelaide spotted site for a city of its size.
