Bit of a long shot but, as i am rebuilding my twink i thought i might refit the
camshafts that i bought in 1983! The thing is i cannot find the spec for them and don't want to fit cams with too much duration as it is understood this does not work well on these engines?
The markings on the end of the cams are KCL2 and i am pretty sure i bought them from Kent cams. I called the company but really could not get an answer other than "you can't measure lift by subtracting the base circle from the lobe nose"?
If i do that the measurement i get is 0.347"

Any of you knowledgeable people remember any thing from back then? Cam wise i mean!

Well after a bit of a measure up at the weekend i think they are the Kent L2's
as they seem to have around 300 degrees duration..
For that reason i am going to leave them where i found them and go with the standard big valve cams.
