Best place to get my lotus serviced - Hants/Dorset

Any recommendations? 2010 Evora brought locally - Lotus dealer, but to be honest their after sales has been appalling - never return calls or Emails so I'd sooner get a relationship going with a company that actually gives a damm. Don't mind travelling. I am in Southampton.

Sportomotive used to get good reviews for Lotus when they were based in Salisbury, I believe they have now moved to Bournemouth.

Yep that sure is true. After booking a day off work and rescheduling work meetings on the offer of a new Evora 400 for the day whilst my Evora was in for an annual Service and some other work by the Southampton dealer, I haul myself out of bed , get there at 8.20 and , nope no Evora 400, nor even another Lotus. Never bothered to even call to advise this was the case, just probably thought oh well stick him in a Toyota then and take his money . Happy to take you money when your buying one but after sales has been TERRIBLE. They lost a £1000 service bill and don't even seem to care. I will take my money elsewhere.

So still looking.............maybe Lotus Silverstone now. is it simple to do oil and filters as may just get my local independent to do it?.

Silverstone have a great reputation. I have used them for parts and a test drive and they have been very good to me. I am now using Essex autosport as they are a lot more local and also come with a great reputation. So far they seem very good.

thanks I visited Back on track in Guildford for a look. Nice looking workshop and Jeremy seems to know his stuff. car booked in there next week and a considerable saving against main stealer prices.

Good service and experience at back on track in Guildford. No more main stealers for . My car had prior to this a full main dealer history we found on inspection.

Pollen Filter had never been changed it was black. Really filthy

Plugs had been changed on this car yet Lotus had "no record of this" and wanted £300 to change something that had been done already . Bit odd?

I would recommend these guys and save yourself a packet. I am not local and travelled.
