The bonnet scoop has been added by the owner, but he has the original one for the car.

It would have been on nasty Dunlop alloys, the current alloys in silver or rostyles would be the way for me! He has the original bonnet. I would try and find a 2000E box too.

I don't know wether to phone with my 7k offer?
Are there any others for sale anywhere to get a comparison?

Don't rush in ... it's not going to sell all that quickly

Off topic, but there is a Mk 1 Lotus Cortina down the road from me in a garage and it hasn't turned a wheel to my knowledge in eight years. Fully race prepared, roll cage and in perfect condition bodily, just sitting there covered over with a dust sheet and never moving. I've tried to acquire it but the owner has fond memories and won't sell, no matter what. Sad really.

On topic, I have the original road test here of the Savage by the way.

Are you able to scan it?

It seems that they didn't come with an engine upgrade or twin tanks as standard, but they were on the options list.

I should be able to photograph it and then post because if I open the old magazines fully the spines break. If you can remind me when the Savage came out I'll look through Motor Sport and Autocar since it wasn't long ago I read the test but can't remember when it was.
