Discussion
The car is for sale elsewhere - but these pictures show it with the correct (?) wheels and bonnet at £12k!!

Am I a cynic or am I just remembering Brian Lister's words when I interviewed him once? I have it on tape, and he remarked that:-
"there are more Listers in existence today than the numbers I built in the day"
It's happened to Lotus Cortinas and to Mini Coopers. Is ther a way of checking the said car is actually genuine or can anyone just throw a V6 at a Cortina and call it a Savage?

Forget it - the car isn't original and quite simply isn't worth that sort of cash - listen to your head man, not your heart!!!
I think this would be a sensible buy myself, it is an original Savage after all.Hi Graeme, I'm good thanks! You?
That was the Parana Capri, they were from SA IIRC?
Black1, the 1600E wheels were just painted silver and black, the chrome ones are after market, but oh so nice!
The Superlites that are on it now would look ok to period if they were painted silver like the Minilites they are copys of.
