Has it been reshelled? If it has, they are having a laugh at 20k+!
Yep reshelled, it was or rather the plate and V5 were for sale on ebay a few months ago, except it was an estate shell for sale with it now it's back on a saloon TBH it's a very well known car, the origional shell was written off 20 + years ago against a tree.
Thats my Aubergine Savage in the picture ?

Here are the correct badges in their correct positions.
The original Savage dadge.
Savage badge at the bottom of the front wings, and V6 on the hind quaters.
And another.
I really need a set of those Savage badges if anyone ever spots some?
Oh.. and the guy with the Magenta car in the photos has spent around 30k restoring it!!

I have spare badges, but to be honest i'd like to keep them but i'll look into whats involved in getting them copied.
I,ll post pics tomorrow of what i've got and see if i can sort something out for ya.

That would be great, do you know how many cars still exist?
It said in the original advert that only 30 Savages were made, I was wondering if anyone knew how many Escort Eliminators Uren made and whether any of those are still around?Possibly a little known fact but AVO were the first to build a V6 version of the 1600E. They had used as much of the Zodiac's mechanical parts as possible including front and rear suspension.I lived a few doors away from the head of chauffeurs (a group only available to VIP's ane Executives) He used to bring home various specials that Ford executives had ordered. These cars were obviously hand built and always finished to a very high degree.Usually painted in what I think was Sherwood Green, there was also a Corsair given the same treatment but this had a beige vynal roof. The Capri was finished in white.
The 1600E was a delight to drive, sounded fantastic with the usual Minilites fitted certainly looked the part! I wonder if any of these cars still exist?

I realise my error in that it was Crayford who made the V6 Eliminator and Uren made the equivalent Escort Apache.Anybody know how many of these or of any survivors?
Been quite sometime sinse I've updated, but, I still have this car
It languished, undriven, and, outside for quite a few years, for various reasons but, it was never going anywhere.
I finally garaged it a couple of years ago, and just recently, spent some money on it.
The photos don't really do it justice, bloody iphone! Ha...
BTW, the bonnet doesn't currently stay shut, needs a little adjustment.

It's missing the chrome across the back between the lights. Which would also look good against the Silver Fox painted satin black. It languished, undriven, and, outside for quite a few years, for various reasons but, it was never going anywhere.

What were the MK II Cortinas that had white leather seats ?
I had a GT estate that got stolen and trashed that had white seats .
When the car was recovered I broke it up and sold all the bits except the engine ,gearbox and steering box which had all been trashed by those that had knicked it . The seats and doors went to someone with a Cortina Savage.
