Don't forget the London to Mexico World Cup Rally...3 up including Prince Michael as far as I recall! That was a Rally, not like the miserable little events these days!

My parents had 2, an early 1500 in russet brown then a '74 1750 auto in damask red. The 1500 had gearbox problems but the 1750 was never any trouble. I remember it being tardis like, comfortable and practical. It took us all on a family holiday from the south coast to Scotland without breaking sweat.

My latest purchase is an automatic. Like the OP, it’s a Maxi2. wink
