Anglia Car Auctions 21 Jan Sale...
Discussion
No need Neville (now that's some alliteration!). If you go here:-
http://www.angliacarauctions.co.uk/classic-auction...
You can check out the past sale results yourself.
ETA:- Just looked through their last sale, and there are quite a few reasonably priced bikes and cars which didn't sell and are still for sale it seems.

Did anybody check out the auction prices? Most seem about bottom estimate. Sale of the day to me seems to be a 1988 4.5 litre conversion Classic Range Rover at 2730 quid (lot 52). I've seen some silly prices around for these lately. There are a few no sales in there still up for grabs.

They've got a Testarossa booked in for their March sale.

There is a reason why Pininfarina didn't chop the top off 308's but even so this car is worth more than the estimate.

We were asked to value one with a view to consignment when I was working for an auction house, safe to say the vendor had a very different idea of its value to us, beauty being in the eye and all that.
the same £15k auction odd-ball... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ferrari-308-GTS-Spyder-C...

And the auction price was about right imho, have you ever seen one of these conversions with a hood up? They look like a pick-up. Instant devaluation on a normal one. And a £12k engine rebuild on a 308?? You have to go some to do that much damage to what is a very tough V8.

And MK1 Broadspeed Capri looks suspect , normally Broadspeed Capris had Extra fog light moulded into bumper ???
Only way to check is the VIN numbers ...but only early mk1 capris these were just riveted plates easy to change out ??
The Mk1 Escort that went for 4k was a bargain
