Ever find a picture of your car on the web?

Surely if a company is marketing prints of YOUR car using one of YOUR images there must be a copyright issue???
It's since dissapeared, but I don't think there would be any copyright issues as they had just come along and taken a picture of it then offered it as a print. Wasn't one of my images.I didn't have a problem with it, but it would have been nice if they'd popped something through the letterbox or just asked as they were a local company on closer inspection.
Wait 'til you come across a forum discussing how you ought to be strung up for doing "this, that and the other" to a poor unsuspecting classic!
Or worse, it ends up being dissected on Pistonheads' "badly modified" threads...
I think the more rare the car the more you should expect to come across it, but I agree it would be nice if publications etc. would acknowledge or let you know. Unfortunately that just isn't practical in most circumstances.

Does anyone else come across a picture of their car whilst browsing the web? It's normally one I've taken and posted on some forum, but today I found this one:
really nice looking car there Tonyparked up on grass with other Bs is good odds though
try finding one of it actually moving, that would be a rarity
I've only ever seen a photo of my Midget not looking at its best - or the driver

My car wins the 'Jaguar XJ40 bulkhead rust' Google search, occupying positions #1, #2, #4, #6, #8, #9 and #10...
It gets the 1-2 on 'Jaguar Sovereign rust' too.
infamy! It gets the 1-2 on 'Jaguar Sovereign rust' too.
There used to be a load of pics of my MG & indeed me on the Midget & Sprite OC site, probably due to the stupid hat I wore when I won the autotest at Brooklands in 2000 or so I think it was the 50th Anniversary meet.

Nigel, look closer. I'm not parked, that IS the only photo of the car moving!! and you'll also see it had been raining and has got wet. The two things you never thought I did!!! parked up on grass with other Bs is good odds though

The photo was from one of these events listed on the left of this page linked, if you've been to any of them, have a look.
