Classic Car meet at The Bull Inn Stanford Dingly.
Discussion
Tomorrow lunchtime is the first meet of 2015 at The Bull, Stanford Dingley. We have already had a couple of meets at local pubs in addition to meeting up at local car shows.
Quite a few of you were waxing lyrical in earlier posts about these meets out in the middle of beautiful Berkshire countryside but where are you all now? It would be good to see you there!
The meets will continue into the Autumn - details here - www.classicsaturdays.co.uk or find Classic Saturdays on Facebook.

It was a small turn out, and for some reason not parked in the field this time. As well as the four above, there were another six or seven classics I think. It's a nice venue however so do come along, with support like there used to be a few years ago it could be a good regular event again.

We actually had 15 cars turn up during the course of the afternoon so not too bad for the first meet of the year and certainly an improvement on last year! We should have parked in the grass paddock but the first ones there were newcomers and didn't realise so we got a bit scattered around the public car park. Unfortunately my camera/phone played up and I failed to get any photos but one of the other guys took some which I'll try to post up here.
Let me think.... we had, in no particular order, a DB5, XJS, Bentley, Spitfire, GT6 x 2, Scimitar, Capri, Tog's Bristol (Great to meet you at last Tog!) Capri, TR7, 911 x 2, Mini and certainly by no means least the very lovely Lancia.
Looking forward to the next one - I hope more of you can make it!

Second Saturday of the month which of course means it's the lunchtime pub meet at The Bull, Stanford Dingley this Saturday, 13 June, 12.00 noon onwards.
Hopefully we will be better organised this month and park up together in the grass paddock. I can't guarantee that the management will organise the skip to be present though!
Was good to see some of old faces last month to add to the regulars - let's hope the sun continues to shine and the trend continues upwards and onwards!

Well, another year has been and gone and here we are in 2016 already!
Our group has been meeting at The Bull and other local West Berkshire pubs. We have got together with West Berks Classic Vehicle Club. Various of us have attended local shows with many more to come this summer.
Newcomers are made to feel welcome and most have become regulars, forming a foundation for growth, albeit slow and some way off the numbers who used to attend in "The Good Old Days" but we are heading in the right direction.
Friendships with likeminded enthusiasts have grown, to the extent that well-attended meetings continued during the winter.
This coming Saturday, 14 May is the first of this year's classic meets at The Bull, Stanford Dingley, noon onwards. Maybe some of you might like to join us and revive the memories? It would be good to see you there!
