Ok, so be reasonable, cut them some slack, they're working to deadlines etc etc. Professionals and enthusiasts as well ? Articles are produced several months in advance of publication.
What they need is, more haste less speed......... no wonder Pistonheaders are grumbling........speed matters

Articles may be produced months in advance but they still have to chuck out a magazines worth of articles every month so they still only have maybe one or two days to actually write each article.
You average staff writer probably has 2 or 3 articles worth of content to produce for each issue, plus coming up with ideas for next month, plus arranging photo-shoots, researching and fact checking, often these days putting the pages together, checking copy with advertisers, etc.
The days of having separate writers, sub-editors, fact checkers, researchers, image editors and advertising copy-writers and editors are long gone from the magazine world and starting to become a thing of the past in the news paper world too. Sadly often replaced by verbatim reprtinting of press releases.

A PC journo once had to be helped out of my Beetle after taking him for a spin to help him understand what a quick Beetle can do. He did a great write up on different stages of modified Beetles.
