For what it's worth, I spent a good while a couple of days ago looking at the badge, and I did think it look like "Turin", but didn't get anywhere with googling that either!

OK, another Email, another intriguing bit of info!

I have a picture of the design that inspired the Fissore/Frost design from a few years earlier... please note the huge similarity between the rear windows!

This was the Michelotti 125S Coupe, they made it!

I don't know about that; it's not the same obviously, but that's not what GV is saying. The styling cues are similar; the main demerits are the absence of the heavy shoulder/swage-line/slab-sidedness(although both designs carry their differing side profiles from front to rear with a pronounced waist), the lack of C pillar detail, and the proportion of front wheels to wheel arch top.

If you look at his proposed Jensen Interceptor replacement, the FFF100,
The FFF100 was styled by William Towns, but was certainly not an 'Interceptor replacement'.

Towns, did, however, style the proposed Interceptor replacement (the F-Type).

Glad to hear we have a resolution. Now bearing in mind what was said above about the car sitting outside the owners house since he built it, I had to have another look at this comment:

Wrong I'm afraid, as I shot the car in your link (image stolen of course) It's a Fiat 125 S by Moretti, not Michelotti. The Trident's one of mine too.
